On March 8th, 2020, the Pakistan Software House Association has launched ProWomen in collaboration with CodeGirls. ProWomen is an online directory of professional women. The purpose of this online directory is to collect data and highlight the contributions of women who are working in different professional fields, including technology, journalism, and banking, etc. It allows you to browse through profiles of women and contact them for speaking and work-related opportunities. You can search a profile by name, profession, designation, organization, previous engagements and/or portfolio.
ProWomen is an effort by the graduates and participants of CodeGirls, a free, girls-only, coding and business skills boot camp based in Karachi. After weeks of hard work, the team has successfully developed, tested and deployed the directory and they have also taken the responsibility to maintain it.
Created with the end-users in mind, the site is designed user-friendly to easily navigate the menu and find the right speakers and professionals. ProWomen is inviting event organizers and head hunters to explore the largest directory of professional women and have more diverse and inclusive professional events and organizations. We also encourage women to look up their name on the directory, If you are already here, please add your areas of interest and expertise. You should also ask other incredible women to apply. The technology team at CodeGirls will be constantly updating the directory with more profiles and has a bunch of cool new features in the pipeline.
We hope you find the website user-friendly and useful. For any questions, suggestions, feedback or comments, please email us at email@example.com
